TCAD Education at Stanford
Numerous activities have promoted the use of Technology CAD to
further the goals of educating the Engineering student. Among
some of the TCAD initiatives are:

- Courses such as EE212 and EE316 use Pisces and Suprem to instruct students in
the dynamics of process and device simulation.

- CIS Student-Partner Information Exchange Program (SPIE) is a program developed in 1993 to allow Electrical Engineering Ph.D. students within 1-2 years of graduation
get much needed visibility in industry by visiting partner company sites, giving
technical presentations, touring the facilities, and interacting in areas of
mutual interest with industrial colleagues.
