A Short Bio
Xiaoning Qi is an Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation. He was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Rambus, Inc. working on advanced wire models and signal/power integrity for high speed I/O interfaces and PLLs. Previously, he was a Senior Staff Engineer at Synopsys, Inc. for two years, where he worked on new challenges in signal integrity, process variations and leakage currents in nanotechnologies. He was a technical lead in SUN Microsystems Inc. from 2001 to 2005, and worked on interconnect RLC modeling and signal and power integrity, especially on inductance related tools and analysis. Before that he was a research assistant at Electrical Engineering Department of Stanford University from 1996 to 2001, and also held a summer position in Synopsys in 1999.He received Ph.D. degree in EE from Stanford University in 2001, and published more than forty technical papers, one book and one book chapter. He holds two US patents. He is a reviewer for numerous IEEE Journals and international conferences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and included in the Marquis Who's Who in America, 2007, Who's Who in the World, 2008, and Who's Who in Science and Engineering, 2008.
