Mixed-Mode Theory
The discussion of the theory behind the mixed-mode
simulator consists of three sections.
- The equations section
reviews how the circuit and device simulators
solves for their respective quantities as they relate
to mixed-mode simulation.
- The interface section describes
how the two simulators "talk" to each other in order to
determine a mutually consistent solution.
- The parallelization section
discusses how mixed-mode is implemented on a
system of networked machines.
