MACHHU PICHU  (6/99)

A group of friends from New York and elsewhere joined an REI-organized hike from Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, to Machu Picchu, one of their major temples.  Much of the hike was on the old Inca Trail, a stone trail laid down 700 years ago.  Here are some pictures from the trip.    Click on thumbnails to expand.
