Biographical Information

I did my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, graduating in 1991 with a B.S. (Highest Honors) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My graduate work was done at Stanford University, where I received an M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1993, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1997. My thesis work was on simulating distortion in RF / microwave semiconductor devices via the harmonic balance technique.

Since August 1995, I have been working at Hewlett-Packard's EEsof Division in Santa Rosa, CA, in the area of RF / microwave circuit simulation. My responsibilities include implementing Krylov-based harmonic balance analysis in our next generation of circuit simulators and developing additional simulator analyses/features/models useful in RF circuit and system design.
