Overview of STRIDE

A robust, parallel iterative solver with ILU-type preconditionings for STRIDE (3-D device simulator) is developed for unstructured mesh in 3-D.

Several CG-type iterative algorithms (CG, CGS, CGSTAB, TFQMR...)are implemented with ILU preconditionings. To deal with the irregular mesh structure concepts of node grouping and stage communications are introduced for parallelizing the proconditioning process and matrix/vector operations.
