Francis M. Rotella

Francis M. Rotella attended Florida Institute of Technology where he received a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering in 1990 and 1992 respectively. During that time he interned at Harris Semiconductor in the summer months. His master's work and summer work focused on design of experiments and statistical simulations.

Currently, Francis is working toward a Phd at Stanford University in the area of mixed-mode simulation. Research will involve determining proper boundary conditions to permit SPICE to communicate with PISCES for simulation of optical electronic devices and/or self heating temperature effects. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and IEEE. He enjoys playing volleyball and cycling as well as reading books about philosophy, theology, and history.
