Chiang-Sheng Yao

Chiang-Sheng Yao studied in Electronics Engineering in National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan where he got the BS degree in 1986. Then he went to Stanford University in 1988 and got his MS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1990. He is currently working toward his doctoral degree in Stanford University and will be graduated in March, 1995. His work focuses on semiconductor device simulations, especially the hot carrier effects in MOSFETs, using the Monte Carlo method as well as the Tail Electron Hydrodynamic method.

His latest work is entitled Formulation of a Tail Electron Hydrodynamic Model Based on Monte Carlo Results.

Chiang-Sheng now works for LSI Logic.
