Stephen Beebe Stephen Beebe was born August 7, 1968 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He received a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in 1990 and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1992. During his graduate career he has held two summer positions in industry. In 1991 he worked on numerical device simulation of photovoltaic cells at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA. In 1993 he studied modeling of electrostatic discharge (ESD) at Advanced Micro Devices, Sunnyvale, CA. Currently Stephen is working toward an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineering. His research is in the area of virtual instrumentation, specifically the use of numerical device simulation to study ESD, latchup, and other common IC failure mechanisms. Stephen was awarded a fellowship for the 1990-91 school year from the Solid-State Industrial Affiliates program at Stanford University. In his spare time he enjoys running competitively and participating in other sports.
