POSTERBOARD GUIDELINES

POSTER BOARD FORMAT

The purpose of a poster board is to provide substantial visual material and self-contained explanation of your work that attendees can quickly get an overview of your work. The emphasis should be on good graphics and large print, brief explanations, and tables, etc.

The size of the poster board will be about 4' x 4' (16 square feet) on which you can attach multiple sheets (approximately 20 8 1/2 x 11 pages) and figures that you have prepared before coming. At the top of the poster board you should put Title, Authors, and Affiliation in LARGE PRINT.

We are still working on the logistics of exact set-up but here's a rough guideline. We are assigned Metropolitan Ballroom for setup on Thursday, September 7, 2000 from 1:00-3:30. Poster Board session will start at 3:45 pm. We will have the poster boards delivered before the start of the afternoon session.
