Synopsis
padre in-file [ -o out-file ]
where:
- in-file
- Input commands used to control the PADRE simulation.
A typical input file looks like this.
Consult the PADRE Reference Manual
for a detailed explanation of commands and their associated keys.
- out-file
- Optional name for an output file used to store printed results.
If not specified, output is printed to standard output.
Description
The PADRE program simulates the electrical characteristics
for a particular device structure. Each structure is defined by
its physical geometry (outlines for the various material regions)
and its doping profile (concentrations of dopant species within the
regions). A structure should be defined purely in the in-file
command file like this.
It can be taken from the output of a process simulator
via bipad, but this option is not available at Stanford.
